The house was warm and welcoming, providing us with the perfect base for our visit to Beamish. The kids loved having access to both Netflix and Disney on the TV, keeping them entertained throughout our stay. The location was also great, with nearby amenities and easy access to hiking trails to explore the beautiful surroundings.

In my wife's opinion, having the bathroom downstairs was a bit inconvenient, especially with young children.

Walked into a warm and welcoming house, with modern and clean amenities. The location was fantastic, with a 3-minute walk to the Co-op and several takeaways. Sunflower Chinese was a delicious and affordable option. , it was a short drive away from Beamish, which was a great visit. The host provided a generous bowl of fresh fruit, some Christmas chocolates, and milk. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Parking was easy to find on the street outside.

The double bed was uncomfortable and creaked loudly, which disturbed the kids. The bathroom being downstairs was inconvenient, although it might be a personal preference as I'm used to having it upstairs.

The area was incredibly quiet, and the location was fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from the Co-op and various takeaways. We had a delicious and affordable meal at the Sunflower Chinese restaurant. The host thoughtfully provided a large bowl of fruit, some Christmas chocolates, and milk. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was tea and coffee available. We had no trouble finding parking on the street outside the house. The beds were extremely comfortable, and our whole stay was amazing. We also appreciated the TV, which had Netflix and Disney for the kids to enjoy.

    Nothing for me.

Stayed 13 km away from the Baltic Centre, can you believe it? Also got to enjoy hiking nearby, like Blair Witch Project, but without the creepy guys recording me.

Who needs privacy when you can have the bathroom downstairs? It's like a surprise obstacle course every time nature calls.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short drive away. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails, taking in the stunning views of the countryside. The house itself was modern, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The host even provided a lovely bowl of fruits and some Christmas chocolates, which was a nice touch. it was a fantastic base for our family adventures.

My wife says that the double bed was quite uncomfortable and creaked every time we moved, which woke up the kids. It would have been better if the bed had slats instead of boards, as it would have made the mattress more comfortable.
